Opencall Artivive x UN
Publication, AR & Competition
Task: Artists are invited to interpret and present their own vision of what peace means, based on the history of the UN’s actions. Contributes are asked to submit an A2 poster animated by using the augmented reality interface of artivive. Leading themes are ‘Futuring Peace’, ‘Bringing together those who have been fighting’ and ‘Creating a bridge across people in conflict zones’.
Concept: To show a vision of what peace means and the work of the UN in peacemaking and peacebuilding I believe that it is necessary to visualize the meaning of the complex word ‘peace’.
By giving the word peace a concrete meaning it can create a understanding for the value of peace and simultaneously shows how important the work of the UN is.
As students we do not have much power, but we also have a voice. And no matter how small somebodys voice is, if all the littles raise their voices for good, together we can be huge.
I think as the future designers we also have the responsibility to raise our voices for good. And help to create a peaceful future.
